The Sunday class at Yogasara is beautiful, challenging and restorative. I love it, and how welcoming and nurturing Megan is, and that there is always an option that I can do in the class, and the invitation to try things, rest with them and see how they feel rather than just act out of discomfort. The healing bowls at the end are sublime. Highly recommended.

A retreat of amazing yoga, self-care, love, feminine power, beauty , vulnerability, laughter, medicine and fun! I highly recommend this retreat! It was full power, held with such gentleness, care and love - such a perfect balance. A retreat that flowed so perfectly, incorporating deities, the elements, yoga, music, therapy and dance (and so much more), you will not only do so many things that are so good for your mind, body, soul and heart, you will also meet beautiful people, build a community, be held by epic space holders and come away having learnt so much and in a bubble of love! My confidence and self-love has grown tremendously - as a result I feel more able to deal with the ups and downs that life will throw at me. This was my first ever yoga retreat and I really got so much more from it then I ever imagined. Megan and Hannah are so lovely and caring and hold space so beautifully together, as well as being hilarious! They really opened my eyes to spirituality and ceremony and allowed me to go deep within myself with the help of their vast amount of knowledge. I have been wanting to do a yoga session with Megan for a long time and finally got the chance to this weekend. It was simply amazing! Her patience with the class (mixed level) was incredible and she managed to bring a well tailored session to suit all levels of experience. I have been doing yoga for 2 years now, but Megan explained the practice in a way that I had never learnt from any of my other classes. While you’re sure to get a full-body workout in many of Megan’s yoga classes, her kind-heartedness and knowledge of practice allows for a warm, welcoming, and accessible class for everyone. I suggest picking her brain before or after class about different breaths to use during your practice or the meaning of ‘Om’. She is a lovely young woman with a wealth of yogic knowledge to share!

I look forward to my Thursday morning yoga sessions with Megan. Her clear and astute instructions almost preempt your own thinking as you are going through poses. Megan offers modifications for all difficulty levels and this is very helpful for me as I’ve been out of practice for several years now. Megan’s classes are appropriately challenging and have made me stronger; she balances out the more challenging bits by incorporating mindfulness, breathing and chanting practices into her classes. Basically, I cannot recommend her more!! If she is teaching near you, do yourself a favour and go!
